Mobilization of world’s families for new development agenda

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in his message on the International Day of Families, May 15, 2014, called for mobilization of world’s families in order to shape a new development agenda.

 

 
 
According to a press release issued by the UN Information Center (UNIC), the full text of his message reads:
 
 
 
ˈAs we commemorate this year’s International Day of Families, we recognize the meaningful contributions that families make to advancing the mission of the United Nations.
