Iranˈs Permanent Representative to the United Nations Gholam-Hossein Dehqani deplored the US refusal to issue visa for Tehranˈs new ambassador to the UN Hamid Aboutalebi, saying that the move is in contravention of the UN headquarters agreement.
ˈThis move is in contravention of the host countryˈs commitments regarding the headquarters agreement with the UN and other diplomatic laws,ˈ Dehqani said in an emergency meeting of the UN Host Committee on Wednesday morning.
