Iran urges closer cooperation with WB

Iran’s Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Tayebnia in a meeting with World Bank (WB) Deputy Director for the Middle East and North Africa Christian Anderson on Monday called for development of relations.

 

 
 
The two officials met on the sidelines of the spring meeting of the IMF and the World Bank Group in Washington.
 
 
 
“Iran is keen to utilize World Bankˈs experiences in all fields including environment protection, road traffic safety, air pollution prevention and natural disasters preparation,” Tayebnia noted in the meeting.
