ISIL Takes Control of Al-Nusra Front’s Gatherings in Eastern Syria

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) captured the most important concentration centers of the rival Al-Qaeda group in Al-Raqqa province in Eastern Syria.

The ISIL took control of Edareh Al-Morakabat, Al-Nusra’s biggest gathering center in Al-Raqqa, on Friday.

The ISIL militants also destroyed the bridge of Sharian village which linked Tal Abyaz city to Al-Douqanieh, Al-Zibaqeh and Al-Sharian villages in Al-Raqqa province.

Meantime, the ISIL regained control of Al-Qatar and Al-Hazimeh streets in Al-Raqqa city after fierce clashes with the rival Ahrar Al-Sham militant group.

After more than two years of fighting side-by-side and leading one of the bloodiest conflicts in the recent history of Middle-East, al-Qaeda's ISIL and Al-Nusra Front and other rival militant groups have been making increasing moves against each other to come in control of the armed insurgency.
