In a meeting with Majlis (Iranian parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani, Ms Bonino expressed optimism that the upcoming international conference on Syria would yield good results.
She reiterated that Italy as like as Iran believes that Syrian crisis have to be resolved through political dialogue and that Syrian people should decide their own future.
On nuclear deal struck on November 24 between Iran and the P5+1, the Italian foreign minister said that Iran’s nuclear issue could only be solved through confidence-building and mutual trust.
