The bomb targeted a vehicle of security forces in Quetta, the provincial capital. Two police officers and a child were killed in the morning attack.
Police said that eight people were also injured in the attack who were shifted to a nearby hospital.
The blast caused damage to several buildings and vehicles in the market, witnesses said.
