Iranian Official Urges Islamabad to Stand Against Int’l Terrorism

Iran’s Deputy Interior Minister Hosseinali Amiri called on Pakistani officials to practice tight security control along the two countries' shared border and not allow international terrorism to use Pakistan’s soil against Iran.

Amiri’s remarks came after a group of outlaws killed 14 Iranian border guards and injured 6 others in a terrorist attack in the Southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Balouchestan on October 25 and then escaped to Pakistan.

“We ask the friendly and brotherly country of Pakistan not to allow the agents of international terrorism to use their soil against our country,” Amiri said.
