Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said here Tuesday that Iran, enjoying peaceful nuclear energy, is not interested in seeing the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) undermined.
On the sidelines of a local ceremony, Ali Akbar Salehi told reporters that the treaty is useful for bringing about peace and stability.
It also helps prevent expansion of nuclear weapons, he added.
