According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 22:07 local time (18:37 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 32.98 degrees latitude and 58. 88 degrees longitude.
Another quake had jolted the same area on Friday evening with 5.0 Richter scale on 21:47 hours local time (18:17 hours GMT), which had no casualties, but some damage was inflicted to a number of villages close to the epicenter of the quake.
