The Bardsir steel factory project was launched in spring 2010. The plant has the capacity to produce 440,000 tons of steel plates annually.
Last year, ended March 20, the first steel plate was produced in the plant using the electric arc furnace.
The steel plates produced in Bardsir are supplied to plants that produce steel beams and reinforcing bars.
