In a meeting between Iran’s cultural attaché to Malyasia Ali Akbar Ziaie and a number of officials of Malaysia’s cinema and film academies here on Friday, the participants also called for holding joint workshops by Iranian and Malaysian experts.
The Malaysian academics praised Iran’s cultural, artistic and national heritage and said Iran enjoyed very rich cinema.
The Iranian official too said cinema, theater and animations were branches of arts with very massive influence on minds.
Given the readiness of the Iranian animation producers to make an active presence in the southern Asian markets, it was decided that preparations be made for holding Week of Iranian film and animated movies in Malaysia soon.
