Tourism industry has been recently regarded as one of the effective factors of Iran’s development. There is no doubt that this industry can affect economic development and decrease unemployment rate. As a result of that policy, tourism in Iran has experienced a 12 percent growth during last 2 years.
Aaccording to the Iran’s Sixth Development Plan, tourism is one of the highest priorities of the country’s agenda and the number of tourists is planned to experience a 5 times increase. Today, following the implementation of Iran's nuclear deal and the subsequent lift of sanctions, the prospects for the tourism industry in Iran seems much more promising and requires more attention than ever.
