Zarif, who is in British capital to attend the The Syria Donors Conference, held talks with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on the sidelines of the event today, discussing the latest regional developments.
The mechanism to boost regional cooperation regarding the developments in the region was also taken into consideration by the two officials.
Accordingly, Iran’s Zarif held a meeting with his Swedish counterpart Margot Wallstrom on the sidelines of the event, focusing on regional issues and bilateral ties.
The conference, attended by officials of more than 70 countries, is expected to introduce Syria’s humanitarian needs and discuss settling the country’s five-year conflict.
