According to Thai media reports, Pramudwinai is scheduled to attend the 9th Thai-Iranian Joint Economic Commission.
While in Tehran, the Thail foreign minister and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad-Javad Zarif would hold a meeting on the ways to expand mutual cooperation.
Over 50 Thai businessmen and officials would accompany Pramudwinai during his visit.
Iran and Thailand trade exchange hit $356 million in 2015.
