Deputy Head and Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi said technical measures are ongoing along with political and economic negotiations; “certain steps were taken which have broght about good conditions with regard to decreasing the number of centrifuges,” he added.
Kamalvandi evaluated the taken measures for exchange of enriched products with yellowcake as satisfactory underlining “we have already received the yellowcake though the other side is required to implement certain measures.”
AEOI deputy head referred to the earlier closure of Iran’s nuclear case as one of these measure and said “fortunately, the action has been taken and with regard to the exchange process, some technical issues are still remaining like identification of the contract for a portion of waste materials."
