According to the Palestine.info website, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, was among the groups calling for the “Friday of Rage” demonstrations.
The group in a statement said the rallies are organized in support of the Quds Intifada (uprising) and the anniversary of the movement’s establishment.
Other Palestinian groups also stressed the need for taking part in the rallies after today’s Friday prayers across Palestine.
They said the participants will condemn the Zionist regime’s aggressions against the Palestinian sanctities, nation and land.
