Climate change adaptation costs underestimated: UN
The UN says the cost of adjusting to high temperatures for developing countries has been underestimated, putting the number at USD 250-500 billion per year.
The cost is expected to be at least two to three times higher than previously thought, according to the study by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) published on Friday at a UN climate conference in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
