Majid Aksari started Iran's career at Houston IWF World Championship on Sunday Morning in Texas, the US, offering a poor performance in Category B of the tournament.
The 62kg national weightlifter had faced certain difficulties before reaching the 2015 World Championship including muscle tear as well as a long process to get a visa to the US.
On the competition day, Askari lifted 122 kilograms in Snatch and managed to lift 152 kilograms in Clean and Jerk in his second trial to eye a heavier weight in the third.
